Abstract

The project focusses on the statistical mechanics of soft matter and complex fluids. We use coarse- grained simulations to identify physical mechanisms that govern, e.g., the structure formation and self- assembly of soft matter at equilibrium and non- equilibrium. Another focus is on method development and systematic coarse-graining of dynamic properties. Our work is funded by the SFB TRR 146 Multiscale simulation methods in soft matter systems, the SFB 1066 Test,  and by a number of individual grants.
