Numerically investigate the spin liquid phase in the anisotropic triangular lattice by two-dimensional DMRG method

Abstract

During the period of the project (partly from 01.01.2016 to 31.12.2017), we aimed to numerically study topological phases, excitations and their induced novel phenomena. It is divided into the following subprojects: (1) Quantum domain walls induce incommensurate supersolid phase on the anisotropic triangular lattice; (2) Thermodynamics of a spin-1/2 XYZ Heisenberg chain with a Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction; (3) Ground-state phase diagram of an anisotropic spin-1/2 model on the triangular lattice; (4) Ground-state phase diagram of the frustrated spin-1/2 two-leg honeycomb ladder; (5) Floquet-induced superfluidity with periodically modulated interactions of two-species hardcore bosons in a one-dimensional optical lattice.
